HU welcomed the new Pharm-D students on November 15, 2023, with an uplifting Orientation Ceremony.
Hajvery University’s Faculty of Pharmacy & HU Graduates are the Pride of Pakistan. HU Pharmacy Alumni are serving across all major Hospital and DRAP.
The ceremony commenced with Quranic recitation. Prof. Dr. Ejaz Sandhu, Director QEC, underscored the university’s commitment to academic excellence, instilling pride in the students. Dr. Lubna Shakir, Faculty of Pharmacy, highlighted faculty accomplishments, and Dr. Rizwana Raheel, FOP introduced academic resources like the HU Learning Management System and e-Library. She informed students about the use of new age technology in the delivery of courses and learning materials.
Dr. Anam Ijlal shared inspiring success stories, while Dr. Hina Khalid explained HEC semester guidelines. An Oath Taking Ceremony emphasized ethical values. The day included fun activities for student bonding and concluded with a tour of labs and the library, providing practical insights. Overall, the orientation blended spiritual, academic, and practical elements for a comprehensive welcome to the new Pharm-D batch.
