About the Role:

Hajvery University is seeking dynamic and visionary individuals to join our team as Deans. The Deans will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and oversight to their respective faculties, ensuring academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and research.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide visionary leadership to the faculty, setting strategic goals and priorities aligned with the university’s mission and vision.
2. Oversee the development and implementation of academic programs, ensuring alignment with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
3. Foster a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and service, promoting innovative pedagogical approaches and scholarly activities.
4. Collaborate with department heads and faculty members to enhance curriculum design, delivery, and assessment methodologies.
5. Lead efforts to recruit, develop, and retain high-caliber faculty members, supporting their professional growth and advancement.
6. Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and partnerships within and outside the university to enhance research productivity and impact.
7. Advocate for the faculty’s interests and needs within the university administration, representing their perspectives in decision-making processes.
8. Ensure compliance with academic standards, accreditation requirements, and quality assurance measures.
9. Engage with stakeholders, including students, alumni, industry partners, and regulatory bodies, to foster positive relationships and enhance the university’s reputation.
10. Collaborate with other university leaders to advance institutional goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Professor and Associate Professors may apply. Doctoral degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution, along with experience and publishications as per HEC Criteria.

2. Demonstrated leadership experience in academic administration, preferably in a higher education setting.
3. Strong understanding of academic program development, assessment, and accreditation processes.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
5. Proven ability to foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
6. Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Position: Heads of Departments (HoDs)

About the Role:

Hajvery University is seeking experienced and dynamic individuals to lead our academic departments as Heads of Departments (HoDs). The HoDs will be responsible for providing strategic direction, academic leadership, and administrative oversight to their respective departments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and research.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic leadership and vision for the department, in alignment with the university’s mission and goals.
2. Oversee the development and implementation of departmental academic programs, ensuring relevance, currency, and quality.
3. Lead curriculum development efforts, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and emerging trends in the field.
4. Foster a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and service among faculty members and students.
5. Support faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation processes, promoting professional growth and mentorship.
6. Manage departmental resources effectively, including budgets, facilities, and equipment.
7. Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and partnerships within and outside the department to enhance research productivity and impact.
8. Ensure compliance with academic standards, accreditation requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
9. Represent the department’s interests and needs in university-level committees and decision-making forums.
10. Collaborate with other department heads and university leaders to advance institutional goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Associate and Assistant Professors may apply.  A doctoral degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
2. Substantial academic and administrative experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
3. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
4. Strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation processes.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
