Key Responsibilities:
- Provide information and guidance to prospective students regarding admission requirements, application procedures, and available academic programs.
- Assist students in completing admission applications, including online forms, submission of required documents, and payment of application fees.
- Review and evaluate application materials to ensure completeness and accuracy before submission to the admissions office.
- Conduct career assessments, personality tests, and interest in inventories to help students explore potential career paths and areas of interest.
- Provide information about various career options, job market trends, and employment opportunities relevant to different academic disciplines.
- Participate in recruitment events, college fairs, and high school visits to promote the university’s programs and attract prospective students.
- Develop marketing materials, presentations, and informational resources to showcase the university’s academic offerings, facilities, and student support services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Previous experience in college admissions, career counseling, or student advising preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to establish support with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening, public speaking, and writing.
- Knowledge of educational pathways, academic programs, and career development resources.
